ECRA is currently directing all new GoFundMe donations through our primary campaign.

Donations support ECRA’s repeater systems, infrastructure, maintenance, operating costs, and continued expansion of reliable Amateur Radio communications across Eastern Colorado.

System 2 Status and Funding Update

ECRA System 2 in Yuma, Colorado, is installed, operational, and entering its final improvement and long-term support phase. To simplify ECRA’s fundraising, all new GoFundMe donations are currently being directed through ECRA’s primary campaign.

Any contribution is appreciated and helps support reliable operation, continued improvements, and expanded communications capability for the communities we serve.

The Eastern Colorado Repeater Association (ECRA) is committed to maintaining 100% transparency regarding the use of your donations. It is essential for us to ensure that you are informed about where your generous contributions are directed. As with any startup, there are necessary initial costs that we must address.

We encourage you to visit ECRA’s primary GoFundMe campaign, which explains how your support helps further our mission.

Key expenses for ECRA include the acquisition of vital equipment such as replacement VHF/UHF repeaters, three antenna towers, new VHF/UHF duplexers (with six cavities), four and six-bay folded dipole antennas, as well as hardware for Echolink, Allstar and APRS. Other expenses encompass UHF/VHF amplifiers, rack mounts, coax hardline, administrative and operating expenses, internet service, and potential tower or space rentals.
